Ilkay M. Genc Ltd. was first established by Mustafa Halil
Genc in 1959 as a small hardware store in Famagusta. After
he was
killed by Greek Cypriots
during the cold war in Cyprus in 1963, his only son, Ilkay
Genc, took over the company. Since 1963, the
company has grown to
become one of the biggest building materials importers and
sellers in North Cyprus.
Today, Ilkay M. Genç Ltd. imports
10.000 different kinds of goods from 20 countries and sells
them in its four different
branches which are
located in Famagusta, Nicosia and Kyrenia. Ilkay M. Genç Ltd., which
has one of the strongest sales team in
this sector, also trades these
different variety of goods by selling them to the other
building materials sellers on the island. |
